Pangolin Safari Art Cooler

A functional object reimagined as a collectible piece of art.

The Pangolin Art Cooler by Brett Field brings together contemporary design, craftsmanship and one of Brett’s most recognisable African subjects. Finished in a warm ivory tone, the cooler features a detailed black pangolin artwork, Brett Field’s signature mark, polished gold hardware and a rich brown leather carry handle with contrast stitching.

The restrained palette allows the artwork and materials to take centre stage, while the combination of cream, black, pleather and gold gives the piece a refined, almost vintage character.

Designed to be used, displayed and noticed, it reflects my approach to taking art beyond the traditional canvas and placing it into the objects and spaces we live with.

Each piece is intended to feel less like an appliance and more like a functional art object, equally at home in a beautifully considered interior, beside a pool, on a terrace or on safari.
