Line Into Form

My sculpture practice carries the themes of my artworks into three dimensions: joy and power, identity, movement, gesture and presence.

Working sculpturally creates a different relationship between the artwork and the space around it. The work changes as you move around it. Light reveals new surfaces, shadows shift, and the form becomes part of the architecture and atmosphere of the room.

I am drawn to human and animal forms that hold a sense of strength, vulnerability and movement. Each sculpture begins with a feeling or story, expressed through posture, balance and the relationship between the different forms.

I create sculptures for individual collectors, interior designers and design-led residential, hospitality and corporate spaces. Subject, scale, material and placement can be considered in relation to the wider interior, whether the work becomes a singular focal point or part of a broader curated collection.

As with my charcoal and pastel artworks, the intention remains the same: to create work that changes a space, carries atmosphere and stays with you.
